For many years I scanned to my Epson 2580 using Photoshop CS. No problems. Recently I installed Ps CS3 and cannot scan because when I go to the import button my scanner is not listed. I downloaded Epson’s most recent driver and still I cannot see my scanner in the import list.

Also, now when I scan going back to Photoshop CS to scan, it crashes after a few scans.

Peg,

Make sure that TWAIN is installed in Photoshop. But, as others will tell you, use the scanner’s standalone software. It’ll free up Photoshop for other work while scanning.
