On a Mac running Panther OS 10.3.3 I sometimes get an alert message from Elements like
<Cannot complete the requested action because the file is locked>.
But I am not doing anything unusual, there is no obvious action left undone, and there are no apparent errors except the appearance of the message itself. So I am left asking, what was the action which could not be completed, and what file was locked?
This has to be one of the least informative error messages I have seen in a while. Has anybody got any ideas?
