Image processor error message.

Just suddenly, when using Image Processor, I get and error message:

ReferenceError: this.dlgMain.ddSet.onChange is not a function: 810

I am on a Mac, using CS2.

I have uninstalled and re installed, still getting this problem.

Any ideas???

Have you trashed your Photoshop Prefs.?

Thanks Ann, in the meantime, I just googled it and was able to trash my preferences. But I am still encountering this problem…

What kind of Mac?

And running which version of OSX?

Try setting up a New User Account and see if it works from there.

Huh, for some reason that worked! Why would that be? so now, do I have to delete my old user account, switch everything over, and start using this one? Thats a lot of crap to move….

What would you do?

It means that your old account is corrupt.

You could start by running Disk Warrior and Repairing Permissions.

Then try doing an Archive & Install followed by updating to the current OSX version by using the COMBO updater (you can download that from Apple).

Then try pulling the whole Prefs. folder out of your old Account and letting new Prefs form themselves for everything — and only add back any old prefs that you find that you really need.

Oh…..this might actually be the answer to some other problems I have been having! Hmm…. I’m going to give it a shot!
