The error is The command Scripts is not currently available in the first image.
In the Bridge I selected 90+ Kodak raw images. All adjustments had been prepped in ACR filmstrip mode. I then went to tools, Image Processor and prepared to save them all as both PSD and JPG. I selected an action that calls a JavaScript to update the file info data. The first image had been opened and was active when the error occurred.
The action runs fine from an opened image. I used IP to process all the images to PSD files without the action. No worries mate.
I then tried it by running Photoshop – Batch again selecting the PSD images from the Bridge. Same failure.
Finally, I tried by running from PSCS automate batch. I selected the new folder since source:bridge is not available. I set Destination: Save and Close. This failed with could not save XXX because the file is in use or open. The file that failed was the fourth, G9PT1130.psd. That is bizarre because this file is not in this folder. It should have been. The script action has no open, save, or close steps.
This might have been an intermittent error. I ran it again, this time with no errors.
I see that there should be a new scripting guide for the Bridge, but it was not on the CD that I could find. And Im trying to run a PSCS action/script, not a Bridge script anyhow.
Cheers, Rags 🙂
