I get as far as installation of Photoshop Elements 1 & get message need IE 4 or above but I run IE6 with sp1 my OS is win XP tried copy to HD & run even closing other progs still getting same error message

Great tip. Out of curiosity what made you look for it? Or, have you had it on hand all along?

I just typed "internet explorer error" or similar into Knowledge Base for Elements, it was the first solution found.

I remember this happens with Photoshop also, knew if was a registry tweak of some sort.
