Need help pasting chinese text into photoshop 6

I need to take Chinese text out of a email I received and place it into Photoshop. Chinese comes out fine in outlook but comes in ‘selectable’ but blank in Photoshop.
Any ideas?

Did you select a Chinese font before pasting?

yes, I also tried pasting in and changing the font… no good….

I heard from my publisher that I need to either have a chinese version of XP installed or have a chinese program installed…. but I’m just checking to see if there is another way.

Any other ideas?

Change the font FIRST.
