Hoping someone has seen this problem before…
I was working in PSCS2 and decided to check for updates – there were several and I checked them all to download and install. I got to the window where it said that my computer needed to be rebooted in order to finish installing the updates… I clicked OK and (oops) Photoshop was still open and I got the dialog window that said Photoshop NOT RESPONDING…so I clicked "Cancel" and closed out the open documents…closed photoshop and manually finished rebooting my computer.
Well, when I tried to log in, I get an error message saying "The system could not log you in now. The domain (my computer name) is not available." I’ve been to tech support (Geek Squad – I was desperate) and they tried the solutions posted at the Microsoft site but none has worked.
I thought I’d try here and see if anyone has any clues on what I can do to get my computer working again – perhaps someone knows what the update files might have done (messed with the registry??) so I can fix it? And, I wish I could tell you which update files I was downloading – all I know is that I went to HELP>UPDATES and selected the ones that were there.
Appreciate any help anyone may have…thanks!
