I have just upgraded to CS2.
I am trying to install the downloadable Help file so that I can understand how the new product works.

I go to Help/Updates, and allow the updater to run, and whatever I select, be it the Help file, or any of the other updates, will download ready for installation. When I click on Install Now, I get an error message telling me that the Installation Has Failed. There is no explanation as to why, and I am beginning to get a bit frustrated.

THIS HAPPENS WITH ALL ADOBE PROGRAMS, ACROBAT 7, PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS, AND CS2.

I have removed and re-installed the program, this has made no difference.

I am unable to install any Adobe updates.

I have searched the Knowledge database here, and have failed to find (no pun intended) any similar problems.

If anyone can shed any light on this, I will be eternally grateful.

Thanks
