I’m looking for a way to down load new fonts into Photoshop. I can do this in Word; all one has to do is simple save it in the fonts file, but so far as I know, Photoshop don’t have a font file. Is there something special you have to do to expand your current Photoshop’s font list? Am I just missing the file some where? Is it even possible?

Help appreciated.

You don’t down load fonts into Photoshop or Elements you add them to your system and Elements will pick them up.

Charlie,

You want to install fonts, not just copy them into a font folder. And don’t forget if you get the font from a CD then you’ll have to change it’s attribute (which is automatically READ ONLY when you copy it) in order to use it.

Actually, as you install fonts from CD, Windows changes the attribute automatically.

Actually², it doesn’t seem to make any diff whether fonts are read only or not.
