I photographed some print samples but you really can’t see the spot varnish well. I would like to stimulate this in PS but can’t seem to get that transparent varn look. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

At the infamous lens flare! I thought of a water filter/overlay which may work. Just occurred to me. Thanks.
