Photoshop to Flash issue

I’m trying to copy everything in this layer from photoshop to flash, but it’s coming over looking completely different from how it did it flash, if at all, and the transparency almost always never works properly. I have no problem keeping it raster, but do I have to actually save a file in order to get what’s in photoshop over to flash? I’ve already tried "copy merged" and it’s still funny. Any suggestions?

I’ve only used Live motion. But when you copy an image in you loose transparency. When you save the file and place it it retains transparency.

are you using Save for Web or just exporting a different format?

i prefer to use PNG for Flash if there’s transparency in the image.

another possibility is to recreate in illustrator and Save for Web an swf, which is very useful…
