I have suddenly started being unable to launch a version of PS7 (7.0.1) that is rtunning on a G4 Tower (1.25GHz with 768Mb RAM) running on OSX 10.3.9. It has been working fine for about two years. I have tried it in both the administartor and user accounts and the effect is the same, it won’t launch a generates a system error. I have reinstalled it, and I still get the same error. I have checked all the permissions from the Applications folder right down to all the files in the Photoshop 7 folder and they are correct, to be sure I have even propagated the permissions just to be sure and still get the same error which is:

Have you run Diskwarrior or fsck in single user mode?

did you trash photoshop prefs? reinstalling with out trashing prefs puts you back where you started.

If none of those things work an Archive and install of the system is what I would do next.

You crash takes place striaght after pulling a time zone. Im no expert by a long way but try changing time zone in system prefs date & time. I think there was a problem some time back with this but my memory fades may be someone else can recall the issue?

Mark is correct. I bet you’re in the UK. Change your time to London.

And if your time zone location was changed, PLEASE tell Apple about it – they claim that they can’t reproduce the problem.
