AFP error message when starting Photoshop CS 2 Mac

When starting PS CS 2 or another Adobe CS applications under Mac OS X 10.4.8 I’m getting an error message saying in german "AFP-Verbindungsstatus Suche nach …". I think the english message would be "AFP connection status for…" or so. The server which is to be searched no longer exists in our network, so it can’t be found. I have removed everything related to this old server but the error message persists. Any idea?

You probably have a link/shortcut to something on that server. It could be a font, a plugin, a preset, a color profile, etc.

But it has to be something that Photoshop is trying to resolve during launch.

Since it happens in multiple applications, fonts and profiles are most likely.
