Hello group,
I hope this is the right group to ask my question in. If not please advise of the appropriate group.
Windows 98 SE
192 Megs RAM
866 P-III
Photoshop Elements tryout
Installs fine, but each time I try to open the software, it gets to one point or other of checking plugins and then stops loading.
Get the old Illegal operation message (invalid page fault in kernel.dll)
Have done some searching on the Internet for solutions, but no luck so far resloving problem.
Have edited config sys file
Files 65
Buffers 40
Stacks 64,512
as suggested on the Internet
Have tried disabling most background applications that load at startup, including anti virus.
Have edited system ini file
MinSP=6
as suggested on the Internet.
Anyone got any other suggestions to get the software to load ?
My thanks in advance to anyone who can offer help with this problem.
Delores
