I’ve just installed the Adobe Creative Suite CS3 Master Edition and when opening Photoshop Extended, an error message appears on the loading screen that says ‘This application has failed to start because MSVCRT10.dll was not found’. I close this box, which appears 6 more times before Photoshop loads up fine (seemingly). Can anyone explain to me what the error is and if it will cause problems further down the line? Is there an update which will solve this?

Thanks,

James Driscoll

This is called by a plugin or third party plugin. Its not in the install package and is unnecessary otherwise. (Think adobe have a problems with updated plugin files). You can download this dll from the net, it goes into folder where the PS .exe file is on your HDD
i.e. C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3.

Cheers for that Graeme!

Putting the msvcrt10 in the system32 folder has solved the problem.
