Hi.

I need help in resolving my problem.

When I make a selection of a certain area in Quick Mask with a regular brush (opacity 100, flow 100)
then when in the regular regime I make a new layer from the selected in QM area, this selection/new layer comes out with a very low transparency.

How can I fix it to get a new layer with 100% transparency?

I use Photoshop CS 8.0 for Mac.

Thank you.

Could you be using a color other than black when painting in QM? Try hitting the D key in QuickMask mode before painting.
