I recently rec’d a copy of Elements for OS 9.0 and wondered if there was an upgrade for OSX ? Or do I have to purchase the newest copy of Elements?

You need to buy PE 2, but if you look around you can usually find it for under $50 with rebates if you are a registed owner of PE 1. Try amazon.com, for starters.
