I am operating on CS2 and Camera Raw 3.3., on a Dell 670 workstation Windows XP.
When I open a photo with Raw, in either NEF (from a D2X or a D70) o DNG, I get the normal dialog box with the four control buttons on th bottom right (Save, Cancel, Open and Done)
Once I made my adjustments, pressing Open or Done turns the monitor ( have one monitor always open on Bridge, the otherone on Photoshop o InDesign) from which I opened Camera Raw into white – for ever – an neither Photoshop, nor Bridge, are responding. I get the warning program not responding". However, Save and Cancel do work – provided have not pressed Open or Done before.
But, if I make no adjustment at all, all buttons do work normally.
I downloaded several times and reinstalled the 3.3 plugin, and it is n better. When installing the old 3.1, it is apparently ok. I als transferred the 3.3 from my laptop – where it works, and there is n change. I purged all the caches ( although I have loads of spac available, Raid 0, 2×15,000RPM 73GB disks and 4GB RAM).
I cannot figure out where it could come from – has it to do with takin into account changes made in Camera Raw ?. If so, why can I "Save" ? I anticipation, many thks for advice
