hi, i have photoshop cs and while i was following a tutorial on making a transparent glass button, the instriuctions said to use the contour editor

how do i get to the contour editor?

It’s in the Bevel and Emboss Section of the Layer Styles dialogue.

Have you tried to hit F1 and type "contour"?
