PS CS2

First, I have been unable to create an action to process my RAW images. I start recording, open a CRW image, save it, click on Done and there is nothing in the action.

I went to Bridge, selected the folder.
Then clicked on Tools/Photoshop/Image Processor.
Selected the output folder.
Ran the first image for the set up.

The batch runs, obviously opens images, and … absolutely nothing nowhere.

What am I doing wrong?

THANKS for your help.

You have to actually use camera raw to "Open" the image. . .saving out of Camera Raw is not a recordable function for actions-opening is.

Jeff,

Thanks for your answer. PLEASE help me a bit more…

I open using Camera RAW, I set how I want the image processed, I click Save, Done, because I have no other choices.

Nothing is recorded in the Action

Then what do I do?

Another scenario: I use Script/Image Processor, with "Open first image to apply settings." I choose the settings I want and nothing else happen.

I have the perfect setting to process the 250 images I need and nothing works… [including Adobe Help Center… that must be an XP-SP2 security ^^%@*!]

THANKS!

Finally SOLVED!

I had to set that specific setting as default.

Somehow, I had imagined that running the first image manually would make all other images in the folder be processed the same way. What an imagination I have….

As for Adobe Help Center, somehow I had also imagined that the window would open by itself… No! I have to maximize it manually for it to show up… Well at least I now have access to help…
