I’m using photoshop elements.
I’ve downloaded some brushes from the studio share section. They appear in my brushes menu,
but when I try to open them,
I get a message saying
"could not load the brushes because this file
is not compatible with this version of photoshop"
I have downloaded all the updates for photoshop elements but still the same problem.
Does anyone know a solution for this?
thanx-

Leb,

When you downloaded the brushes, did you check for which version they were designed ? For maximum compatibility, Photoshop 6 = Photoshop Elements 1, and Photoshop 7 = Photoshop Elements 2.0

Although some brushes are said to work only with Photoshop 7 but will in fact work with Photoshop Elements 1, it’s not always the case. So assume PS6 = PSE1, and PS7 = PSE2.
