CS2 Certain tools do not work

Did I turn something off? My Healing Brush, Paint Brush, Clone Tool, History Brush, Eraser, Blur and Dodge Tool do not work. They come up when I click on them. They do nothing when I use them.

maybe you’re in 16 bit mode? try converting to rgb 8 bit… haven’t tested a lot with 16 bit in cs2, not sure what’s now enabled…

Or do you have a pen tablet that isn’t being used, but the pen is still close to the tablet (and overriding the mouse). Keep the pen parked away from the tablet.

Try resetting the Preferences file. (Ctrl+Alt+Shift whilst firing up Photoshop)
