Importing New (downloaded) Fonts

I downloaded some fonts from the internet and then i put them in my fonts folder but they wont show up in photoshop CS… please help

Did you close Photoshop and then reopen it? Fonts menus are built during the loading of the program.

Do the fonts load in other programs?

Did you install them with the font control panel of Windows?

How many fonts are there on your system?

I was surprised to find that a font that I added with my font manager during a Photoshop session appeared in the list witout restarting Photoshop!
