Sometime trying to do something with layer (or objects on it) I get a message "Could not use /instrument or operation/ because no layers are selected" or so, though, of course, I’ve layer selected, visible, it’s not locked etc (and see it’s name at th eheader of window).
Hmmmmm….

What something were you trying to do with the layer? Was the layer possibly named Background?

Any action and that was layer, not background, of course 🙂
