I normally use Photoshop 7.0, however, a friend only has access to Elements. I was explaining the Automate-Batch functionality of Photoshop and was wondering if anyone knows if that feature (or a comparable one) is available in Elements. They have a folder containing about 300 images. Using Elements, we want to automate a conversion on all of the images so that they can be scaled down in size. I thank you in advance for your comments!!

Elements has limited batch features, but one of them – and the one I used about three hours ago! – will convert images to another file format and/or change the size. It can be found in Files>Batch Processing, and it will do a complete folder at a time if you so desire.

there is a free batch addition on the Adobe Studio Exchange:

This can be expanded, from what i understand 🙂
