does anyone know what happened to the aforementioned newsgroup. whenever i try to log on i get an error in connecting to the server. funny- i can connect to all the other photoshop newsgroups

What newsserver are you connecting to?

i was using the news.optonline.net server. they say they had no "problem connecting to the newsgroup", but– the posts stopped comiong in on that one on dec 6. i have since connected via forum.adobe.com and seem to be getting the news group just fine. 🙂

While my home server is also optonline.net, As you can tell I use a different server that has a better retention policy and fewer dropped groups. More importantly, when I travel optonline is not always available. Just my thoughts.
