When I make a selection and then create a layer out of it, the new layer is not positioned precisely over the layer(s) beneath it. If I toggle the layer on and off, it very clearly moves slightly. What is going on?
For example, I select the head of my subject with a subtle feather, then hit Ctrl+J to create its own layer. When I toggle it, it is not sitting directly on top of the head beneath it. Is the "slack" created by the feathering causing this?
Thank you,
jake
