hello

anybody know of any filters or actions or tutorials online that can help me to build hi rez graphics that look like convincing planks of pine wood?

I’ve got one for rosewood but its too dark….

any help would be appreciated

Sometime I just don’t understand why Photoshop users asking some very weird question, because

– If the image is too dark then you can always use Level or Curve etc. to brighten it up. Or at least try something like Hi-lite/Shadow which may work too.

Back to the non-Photoshop. I don’t know if there is any good plug-in or action to simulate good plank of wood, but if you want tutorial then I would say GOOGLE is a good place to start. And if you don’t want to learn the tutorial to make your own wood, then I would say GOOGLE for wood texture would do.

– Or just grab your camera to snap a shot at some wood, then use Photoshop to make it pop. This way depending on your camera you can have hi-rez image with a press of a button.
