Did Photoshop CS eliminate the "Fade" for brushes?

Does anyone know how to fade a brush stroke in PS CS? The "Fade" option allowed you to set the amount you wanted to fade a stroke made by the airbrush tool or paint brush. This allowed you to fade your stroke so you could produce thick to thin strokes to draw an eyelash or a commet’s tail, for example.
But the CS versions seem to have eliminated this useful option (along with the airbrush itself?).
Can anyone tell me if it still exists and if so where did they hide it?

I believe it’s called TABLET which you can get from company like Wacom, and the Intuos has more pressure sensitive (1024 vs 512 of Graphire) and Tilt effect.

Eyelash, hair etc.. Photoshop has lot of option under TOOL’s (I think) that gives you more/less dozen options, including the "fade" you want above.

the brush tool palette by default is upper right in a tab by the layer options

if hidden> windows>brush palette
it is different but has even more fun goodies than previous versions and fade is there
click each one in the list at left
move the sliders
choose tip shape >control direction shape etc
