hello,
just wondering if anyone can help me, why is photoshop (cs3) exporting my images like this. It happens when i "save as" or "save for web" as jpg.

Could it be a color profile setting?

thanks

checkthe oipptions inthe save for web palettes
looks like it is showing the background as transparent instead of white

does your orig have a white layer under it??
did you hit matte inthe palette on black (use white)?
make sure you set to jpg and not gif or png

unless you check the box, save for web
strips out the color profile
