I would like a step by step method on how to prepare and image so that it can be made into a slide….I keep getting teeny tiny picturew with big black backgrounds,,or pic that are too big

Peg, if you mean 35mm slides, I do that.
It’s done with a device called a film recorder, and one needs the highest resolution file possible (up to 4096 pixels on long side).
