the following message appears when i try to start photoshop7, although Image Ready works ok. any help please.

sounds like you may need to reinstall windows. USER32.dll is one of windows main control files.

Peter,

Have you tried:

1) Deleting the preference file (Details in the FAQ at the top of this forum’s Topic List)?
2) A complete uninstall/re-install of Photoshop?

thank you for the time you gave, i tried all that and nothing but i persisted, it finally was a plugin that would not remove so i had to remove its folder by handthank you once again now working panic over
