Wonder if anyone has this book and can tell me why I can do the Hands-On-Session 31 in b/w or grayscale but can’t do it via CMYK?

Or can you?

Would be grateful for some sound advice on this matter.

Without having the book, let me take a guess. That lesson uses filters and many filters will not work when in CMYK mode.
