If I work on a photo in Photoshop, save it as a jpeg and want to place this photograph in a Indesign file it turns out to be a black box; what do I do wrong? How can I change this so that the photograph is shown in Indesign? Thanks a lot for your help!

I am not sure of Indesign’s particular qualities. i have found that some other programs have difficulties if the JPEG is saved with "BASELINE Optimized" or "BASELINE progressive" try saving it "BASELINE Standard".

(SAVE AS …select JPEG…. then click radio button for BASELINE Standard")
Hope this helps
