I was looking for something more relistic:
The REAL "wanted poster" of the old west
AND
in a GOOD resolution!

I don’t believe the original ones _were_ in good resolution. They were quickly and very cheaply printed.

You’d do better to get newspaper photos and put them on wanted posters. Or find something on the web in the way of outlaw photos and put them on a cleaned up version of whatever ones you’ve found. I believe that’s the origin of the wanted posters anyway. If the outlaw had had his / her picture taken, they copied them and used them for the posters.

Your best bet would be to make one. The choice of font should be characteristic of the "times" (that’s NOT any of the Times fonts), then you can distress the type with say the "Photocopy" filter in PS, or similar.

As has been pointed out, even scanning a well preserved original is likely to show its age, and probably a lot of weathering.
