OK, I have Photoshop7 (Uk) and have 80 something images I want to downsize from 3000 x 2000. Do I have to do each one individually?

Thanks in advance

Alex,
make a copy of one of the images and practice on that.

Go to windows pull down hit actions.
Find the New Set button by mousing over.
name it alex stuff or whatever
hit create new action
You are now recording
go to image resize or whatever…
hits save close etc
go back to the actions window and hit stop recording.

test it see if it works on another copy.

If it does

go to the file pull down menu hit automate then batch
find your set and new macro

try it on copies just in case you mess it up.

Hi Alex; First make an action and make it to change one image from 3,000 to 2,000. ( I guess you mean pixels). If you don’t already have an action set for actions you make …first create a set and then put the action in that set. Next use File > Automate > Batch. Select , in batch, your set of actions and then the one you made for downsizing. Now set it to go to the folder with all the images to change and click ok . They will now all change to the new size. Good luck ;
