How come Adobe have decided to have their "Save As" command using the letter ‘V’ as the keyboard shortcut character? Ie. pressing "alt-f-v" does a save-as, instead of the "alt-f-a" that every other windows application ever created seems to use. Why did they feel that they had to move away from the standard. Everytime I try and save as, I end up doing an "Open As". I presume there’s no way to change it?

Don’t get CS2 right now, but I’ve heard that now you can change shortcuts as in IIly, isn’t that true?
Pray for me that I have enough money to upgrade (and many other things -) )

SaveAs on a Mac is Command/Shift + S on some programs like Photoshop. Many OS’s have different key commands. Get used to the one you’re using – if it’s THAT irritating use the mouse for heaven’s sake.

It’s Alt-F-A in CS2 without changing anything.

It bugged me too.
