Forgive mistakes I’m new. I’ve read all FAQ’s on Raw and have not found an answer. Running Windows 2000P. Photoshop CS. Raw update 2.2.Using Kodak 14N. Have 2 gigs of Ram. Could not open Raw files from any hard drive. Have 4. Message (Not enough ram). After talking to a great Adobe Tech she found the problem. I had preferences set to usage at 90%. I work some big files. I’m comercial photographer. The solution. The only way for me to open raw files is by changing usage from 90% to 50%. This reduces my memory to 1 gig.No combination of scratch disks (have plenty of room) helped at all. There must be some problem to be restricted by Photoshop to using only half of the memory I bought due to the encouragement of Photoshop for buying as much memory as I could afford. Does any one have a solution?
