CS Histogram Palette question

Is it possible to make the CS histogram palette refresh after each operation instead of having to keep hitting the uncached data button?

The histogram cache control under Edit | Preferences | Memory and Image Cache seems to work for the histogram in Levels only.

I’m not sure what the problem is. In setting points on a curve, the histogram is updated with every point entry, provided the Preview box is checked.
