From another source, I ran across a site that has small patches of a large number of textures/colors. It’s

and I have absolutely no association with it.

Thanks Norm, that’s a great resource.

they are a mighty fie collection, but due to the low quality i suspect many of them are only good enough for making webpages, which i think from reading the site that is what it was aimed at.
