Howcome everytime I save an image for the web, or import it into image ready, it dims the image. This is troublesome because I like my colours to be exactly what I chose them to be (obviously) and when I go back to edit an image on a page that blends into an image beside it, the colours change and I have to play around some more. Is it a colour/working space problem, is it tagging my images imprporely. Is it a preferences thing?

Please Advise…

Cheers

Edit:

And how can I get them to match the colours of my previous pictures I made earlier?

This question comes up regularly on the forum.

The problem is that PS is colour managed but web applications are not. To reduce the colour shift, convert your image to the sRGB profile.

Or, set your proof colours to Monitor RGB and use View Proof colours – then the view in Photoshop and IR/Save for Web/a Browser will all match.
