I have a circle shape object I would like to crop

It is currently a square.

I would like to crop the corners of the circle so they are transparent.

This would leave a circle object complete, with the corners transparent to use my HTML background color.

What should I use.

I tried the magic wand. Which highlighted the outer, but I was not able to crop.

any suggestions?

Cropping is only square, sorry.

It is currently a square.

And it will stay that way in the conceivable future.

I would like to crop the corners of the circle so they are transparent.

Crop close to the circle, then delete the area you wish to be transparent.

This would leave a circle object complete, with the corners transparent to use my HTML background color.

What should I use.

Save it in Gif format (Save for Web option).

I tried the magic wand.

Inverse the selection, cut and paste. Turn off the visibility of the lower layer and Save for Web.

Which highlighted the outer, but I was not
able to crop.

Nor will you be able to.

any suggestions?
