For about a month my Dell 17" lcd monitior has had a distinctive blue cast, no matter what program I am using . I have a Dell Diension 8200 PC with Windows XP Professional, that I bought in August 2002 for home use. I have Monaco software that is supppsed to match the monitor image with digital prints. I also have set my PhotoshopCS2 ICM to match the ICM of my Epson 1280 printer. The prints are OK, but it is diconcerting to have the blue cast on the monitor. I spent 2 hours with on the phone Dell tech and tested everything he could think of, including uninstalling my NVIDIA software, going to the NVIDIA website, and re-installing it. The Dell tech’s superviser said it is my video card. The tech department at my office suggested that my monitor cable is loose or defective. I have checked the connection, and it seems OK. Any suggestions?
