I would like to get additional patterns. Where would I get them? How do you install them?

You could do a Google search on "Photoshop patterns". The patterns have an extension of *.pat and are usually located in C:\Program files\Adobe\Photoshop CS\Presets\Patterns. I think the default patterns are also in C:\Program files\Adobe\Photoshop CS\required. C: is whatever your hard drive is, of course.
