How do I save a Style?

Could anyone tell me how to save a Style please?

I can save it within PS itself (ie it will appear in the Style window) but I can’t work out how to save (export) the Style as a .asl file so that I can archive a copy of it off the computer.

Use Edit>Preset Manager or save the whole palette from the flyout arrow on the Styles palette.
