I am just about to order my new pc.
I am going for a gigabyte ga8knxp motherboard with 4 serial at channels. I didnt want to daisychain devices due to the channe bandwidth limitations with the drives so I am going for a four channe board.
I intend to stripe 2 x 26 gig 10k rpm raptors for the boot volume (c drive). I am also going to get 2 x 150 gig fluid bearing drives fo storage. Will i benefit performance wise if I stripe them and use the as a scratch disk and data disk. Or is it better to keep them a seperate disks
