I’m clueless, hopefully someone will come along soon that can put a handle on it now that we can see.

hard drive or hard drive controller or some hardware that relates to the hard drive is going. check cable connections first then go from there. it certainly ain’t good.

If you zoom in and they go away, it’s probably the video card.

If you zoom in and out and they change, it’s probably bad RAM.

If the image looks fine, you save it, then reload it and it’s corrupted – then it’s probably the hard disk.

Mark,

It is file corruption. Now you need to find out what is causing it. It could just be that individual file. Here are some other things to ask yourself…

Does it happen on all JPG images?

Does the image look ok locally but is corrupt after being uploaded to the site?

I see that wall.jpg and wall3.jpg look ok so it must not happen all the time?

At any rate you have some testing to do to narrow down the possibilities.

Yah I have been testing a lot of things. I am making a signature now for a forum, and going to see if it has lines. I havent tried different jpegs. I got that wall of a website, so that could be the problem.
