Turning Off Thumbnail Generator

I’m trying to turn off Photoshop’s thumbnail generator. The Photoshop Help says I need to right-click on an image, choose Properties, click on the Photoshop Image tab, and uncheck the “Generate Thumbnails” checkbox. However, when I do this, I don’t see a Photoshop Image tab. I only see General, Security, and Summary tabs. Am I missing a step somewhere, or is this because I’m running Windows 2000? Anyone have a solution?

I would like to hear something about this too. BUt, I want to turn it on. I find the Photoshop Image tab under .bmp files, but not for .jpg. Both are associated with PS. I am also running w2k.
