Photohop CS keyboard shortcuts

My keyboard shortcuts won´t work in PS CS. eg. when I press ctrl + d to deselect my selection, nothing happens, i can´t save with ctrl + s and so on. i have checked the shorcut options but they seems to be alright. what should i do?

The biggest issue with the Ctrl key not working is using a cracked version of the software. I won’t make any accusations but if you have a legitimate, activated version come on back with your COMPLETE system details.
