Can any1 give me a quick idea of how to stitch two scans together. I have tried, and got nowhere. [older dude]
Using Adobe CS [Properly Purchased] if that means anything. Thanks in advance for any help.

My method:

2 scans at identical resolution with an area of overlap. IOW, make sure you have one portion that is included on boths scans to use as reference for lineup.

Combine the 2 scans into 1 job on different layers.

Reduce the opacity of the top layer to something like 50%.

Move the layers around until the identical portion you’ve included on both scans overlay exactly.

Flatten layers.

Alert!!!!
Ack! I forgot to tell you to return the top layer opacity to 100% before flattening! Obvious, but I wanted to be complete in my instructions. —
